Hailing from northwest Ohio, on the shores of Lake Erie (American’s rock and roller coast), Chris Barrett spent over four years in the Marine Corps as a data systems maintainer, setting up computers in all corners of the Mojave and Sonoran Deserts as well as areas overseas. After the military,  Chris worked for a veteran non-profit organization, a fitness studio start-up, and Nationwide Insurance. Each role, while valuable in its own right, was not exactly what Chris was looking for and he decided to make a switch to graphic design. Chris is now a budding designer who is finishing his degree in communication design from Parsons in NYC. When he’s not emerged inside the Adobe Creative Suite, Chris enjoys reading novels, history books, watching movies, and taking pictures around the city.
