Matthew currently serves as an Associate Producer at CBS Sports Network, where he has worked for over a decade.  His responsibilities include acting as Producer & Associate Director of sports broadcasts in a myriad of events such as NCAA football, NCAA basketball and PGA golf.  When he is not working on live broadcasts, Matthew produces specialty shoots, writes and edits high-end teases and other roll-ins used for air on CBS Sports.  He has worked on notable sporting events of Tiger Woods’ 2019 Masters Win and Butler’s near-miracle vs Duke in the 2019 NCAA Championship.    

 

Both of Matthew’s grandfathers fought in World War II.  His grandfather Ben served in the Military Police Platoon in the 8th Armored Division.    

 

Matthew received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Penn State University, graduating from the John Curley Center for Sports Journalism with a major in Broadcast Journalism.  He minored in Sociology.

 

Loving husband to Emily and a proud father of Aaron.  The Kushners reside in Westport, Connecticut.
