On Friday, Dec 2nd, the CBS Interactive team in San Francisco hosted the Student Veterans of American group from San Francisco State University. 10 Veterans joined the team on site that day. It included a tour of the office, and then everybody participated in a "Career Boot Camp." Sarah Willey went over resumes with the Veteran attendees, John Geyer reviewed LinkedIn/Social Sites, and Marchelle Johnson did interview tips. Afterwards, the San Francisco based team opened up the room for a "networking" event and invited CBS Interactive employees to join. Melisa Thomson and Sarah Willey worked with the CBS Veterans Network to plan the event.
