On Nov. 16, CBS hosted its annual Supplier Diversity Outreach Event at CBS Studio Center. Company Chairman and CEO Leslie Moonves provided remarks, and Kevin Frazier, co-host of “Entertainment Tonight,” led the annual awards presentation. More than 50 diverse-owned companies participated in the event, which also included a supplier expo and targeted matchmaker meetings. In recognizing the importance of the Supplier Diversity Initiative at CBS, Leslie Moonves said: “Supplier diversity is good business for CBS. By integrating supplier diversity into our sourcing process, we ensure that all vendors have equal access to opportunities to do business with CBS.”
Unique Catering, a Veteran-owned company that supports major CBS Sports events, was presented with the Diverse Supplier Recognition and Internal Advocate Awards, respectively. CBS Veterans Network members gather to congratulate Barry Shpiro, Veteran and award recipient for Unique Catering.
