Paramount Veterans Network Joins Wounded Warrior Project for Veterans Day Parade

On Friday November, 11 2022, the Paramount Veterans Network attended and walked in the 103rd Annual Veterans Day Parade in New York City. The Veterans Network supported Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) at the parade, which started with a warriors breakfast and pre-parade entertainment, including some classic songs that got everyone moving.

Many servicemen and women lined the city streets, some marching - others playing instruments while a mass of camouflage, veteran hats, balloons, and American flags waved in the morning breeze. Despite the weather people came out to show their support for veterans and, of course, the veterans showed up to walk in support of one another. For the Paramount Veterans Network it was a day to come together, reflect, and show support for our brave men and women who served and the many thousands that are serving now at home and abroad.

Paramount Veterans Network was proud to have SEAL Team star David Boreanaz in attendance. David was kind enough to take time to meet with veterans and active duty service members taking several photos with uniformed fans.

Members of the Veterans Network wore jackets with the embedded phrase 'In Loving Memory, Justin Constantine, Marine Corps Veteran, RIP 1970-2002' as a tribute to their late friend who passed away a few months ago.

After the parade, dinner was provided by Wounded Warrior Project at Virgl’s Real BBQ where veterans and families could sit wit one another and share a delicious meal. We would like to thank WWP and their staff, Virgil’s Real BBQ, and the many veterans and their families for braving the elements to show support for Veteran’s Day.
