In early December 2022, Richard M. Jones, EVP General Tax Counsel and Chief Veteran Officer at Paramount Global, spoke to students from Westhill High School of Syracuse, New York in the renowned Studio 19 at the CBS offices at Blackrock. Richard M. Jones spoke about his transition from a military career to a civilian career which led him to become a phenomenal servant leader. As the General Tax Counsel, Rich oversees ~160 tax jurisdictions for Paramount Global and leads the mission of the Paramount Veterans Network.
In addition to speaking about his own career journey, he also mentioned the many great mentors and team members he has engaged with along the way. Rich shared many tips for success to which the students proudly walked away with. Employees from the Tax department and Paramount Veterans Network had the opportunity to share some career tips and speak about their own experiences at the company.
