The month of May has been officially dubbed “National Military Appreciation Month,” as it holds a wealth of military heritage that reflects the triumphs and sacrifice of our nation’s men and women. The poppy, a bright flowering plant, is one representative symbol used as remembrance for their bravery. To show its support, the CBS Veteran’s Network is giving away plant-able poppy seed cards for you and your families to plant, as a gesture to honor those who have served for our country.
